Week 3 Madame Caro’s 5eme

Word Search and Sentences

Hello 5eme, for this assignment you will need to print this word search. You will then find each word, after, please write one sentence for each word. This is a fun way to learn vocabulary and in class you really enjoyed the word search activity.

Please note if you can’t print this out, you still need to write one sentence for each word.

Keep this in your folder as I will be looking at this when we return. In your folder you should have week 1, week 2, and then week 3’s assignment. All of these will count as a majority of your grade.

Have a great rest of the week,

Madame Caro

Cambridge 5e Mrs Caro Video Listen and Journal Write

Hello my 5eme, I hope you are well. How are you? How did the Vision Boards go?

For your assignment you will be reading an article about Penguins in Chicago. Read this several times, writing down any words you do not know. After you will write a journal entry, the journal entry will count for your participation. What do you think about the article?

Your link for the article to read copy and past the link to open: then proceed to click on the video underneath so you can hear what you will read.

I will be looking at your journals when we return. If you do not have your journal, write on another piece of paper. Make sure to date all your assignments. Example Week 2, with the day you write your journal entry. This will count as participation and this journal entry is an important exercise.

Keep up the good work. I am looking forward to seeing you all when we return.

Thank you and have a good day,

Madame Caro

Vision Board for Madame Caro’s 5eme

For this assignment you will use a magazine, newspaper, or print images from the internet to create a Vision Board.

Instructions: Use a piece of paper and cut out images and glue to the paper. This assignment is for you to help build your vocabulary, and think positively about the future or your present moment in English.

Your vision board should include the sport you like, the food you like, where you would like to go, the music you like, what you are reading, or where was your best holiday, what are your goals?

Cut out pictures of things you enjoy. After you create your vision board, on the back you will write a paragraph describing the photos you used. The photos are for you to use visually to help write a creative paragraph. An example of instructions: we will share these when we return to class. I hope all of you are doing well, and remember to try and watch your favorite series with subtitles and in English. Have a good day, Madame Caro
