3ème Cambridge Pippa Wk 9

Hello everybody – here is your work for this week. Please send it back to me by Friday 29th May. (pippaj74000@gmail.com)

  1. Reading: Read the text and then choose the correct word (from fiche 2) to fill each gap.

2. Listening: Listen to the radio programme and fill in the gaps.

3. Writing OR Speaking: Look at the questions – What would you do ……… ? Choose 3 to answer. You can either write your answers (25-30 words for each) or you can record yourself speaking. (Try to use 2nd conditional -like the questions – If + past simple, would + Inf (-to), as we are imagining the situation)

I am very sad that I can’t see you all to say « Goodbye ». I have really enjoyed teaching you all this year – I think you’ve made a lot of progress – I hope you do too! I want to wish you all the very best for the rest of this school year and for your new adventures at lycée next year. I hope that you’ll be able to enjoy the Summer outside. Don’t forget to keep practising your English!! (For anyone who wants – I can send some links to English language sites – you can ask me when you send in your work – pippaj74000@gmail.com) Thank you for all your hard work during the confinement 🙂 🙂

Hi Everyone – here is your work for this week.

Watch the official video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LNNPNweSbp8 and listen to the song (lyrics on the worksheet) « Living in a Ghost Town », which was released by the Rolling Stones on 23rd April 2020 during the Covid-19 lockdown. Answer the 5 questions which are on the worksheet AND these two. 1. Do you like the song? Why/why not? 2. In your opinion, does the video show the ideas of the song well. Why/why not? As you have ‘no school’ on Thursday and Friday, please try to send your work back by Wednesday 20th May. (pippaj74000@gmail.com)

For students who want more practice for the PET exam:

3ème Cambridge Pippa WK 3

Hello everybody – hope you are all doing OK. I’ve seen some great work so far so keep it coming!! Here is you work for Week 3.

  1. Ex. 10 and 11 p. 53 – voyez la fiche téléchargée.

2. Write a story entitled ‘The Thief’ (about 100 words) using the pictures (téléchargé) to help you.

Wishing you all a very good week 🙂

3ème Cambridge Pippa Wk 2

Hello everybody – I hope you are doing OK and helping your parents with the housework 😉

Here is your work for week 2 (still using the papers for Unit 6)

Ex 1 Réponses: a) should and ought to b) have to and has to c) mustn’t d) shouldn’t e) don’t have to

Wishing you all a very good week 🙂
